Female Hair Loss Treatment For Young Women

by Elena on August 26, 2009

It’s never easy to deal with hair loss. For young women this kind of devastating experience is especially traumatic. Let’s be honest: so many things in a woman’s life depend on her image! When you’re young and you plan your future, you don’t want to lose any chances because of hair loss!

Many times young women start losing their hair quickly, without having enough time for some prevention measures. When this happens, you have to keep in mind that hair loss is not a separate disease, but only a symptom of another general condition.

Nobody wants to lose time because of an incorrect diagnose. If you want a fast and effective female hair loss treatment, first of all you should take a closer look at everything happening in your life. Yes, I’m being very serious now: everything has a cause, and all our diseases are caused by what we think, what we do, what we eat and how we react.

Stress is always present in our life, regardless of our age. It weakens our immune system, hair loss being just one minor consequence. What can we do? First, try a different attitude! Reconsider your priorities – what’s so important out there that it’s worth losing your health and your hair for? A young woman can be stressed because of exams, because she’s trying to find a better job, a life partner and the list can go on. But remember – if you have no health, nothing will matter to you anymore!

Genetic predisposition can also cause hair loss, even at a young age. Female pattern baldness can affect even 25 years old women.

Even if you’re young, you can still experience hormonal changes. If you’re taking medications with a hormonal impact, you may notice that hair loss in only one of their side-effects.

As I wrote above, you have to remember that any discomfort in your body can be a symptom of another illness. As the ancient healers used to say – treat the whole, not the part! Make sure you mention your hair loss problem to your doctor! Also, try to notice if you’re experiencing other symptoms at the same time with hair loss. This will help you find a correct diagnosis! There are many available hair loss treatments for young women – just make sure you identify the cause first!

Nobody is surprised when people lose hair as a result of old age. It’s a totally different story when a young woman starts experiencing hair loss.  No matter of the cause – stress, improper nutrition, hormonal imbalance or medical conditions – there is always a solution!

Let’s examine the main types of female hair loss treatments for young women, based on the main causes:

Hair loss as a result of a medical condition: premature hair loss can be caused by thyroid imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome or androgenic alopecia. Each condition has its own treatment that will be prescribed by a specialist. You can strengthen your immunity at the same time with natural remediesherbs, vitamins, hair masks and a healthy alimentation.

An imbalance in estrogen and testosterone will cause your hair to start falling even at a young age. If you treat the hormonal disorder, your hair will grow back to normal!

Cancer medications usually cause chemotherapy hair loss. Other medications that may result in hair fall are antidepressants, blood thinners, high blood pressure medications and birth control pills.

If you’re on a severe diet and you want to lose some weight, you should remember that iron and protein deficiency are very often responsible for hair loss!

And, of course, the stress can never be underestimated! It can cause hair loss all by itself, and it can also aggravate other diseases! For a more efficient female hair loss treatment, try to have a healthier lifestyle, eat properly, exercise and smile more often! I promise – you’ll be surprised!

Hi Elena!

I was pleasantly surprised by your website – especially by the fact that it focuses on a natural, balanced way of fighting hair loss. About a year ago I started to notice a rather alarming hair loss (even if I’m only 25!). I’ve tried many things – vitamins, hair masks, different shampoos… All these treatments improved my situation a little, by still my hair was not as thick as before. After reading some posts from your website, I understood that I’m not looking in the right direction. Actually my hair loss was caused by severe stress!

Even if it was extremely hard, I’ve learned to cope with the problems I was having and, step by step, my hair started to regenerate.

Thanks for your insights!
Cheers,
Jane

Hi Jane!

Thank you for your comment! You’re absolutely right – stress can be a devastating experience, not only emotionally, but also physically, affecting our immunity, our internal organs and the state of our hair, nails and skin.

Good job on determining the real cause of your condition!

Good luck and be healthy!
Elena
